Biography of Socrates

There are many interesting aspects related with Socrates’ biography the first peculiarity of him was his affiliation of a special religious mission, of which he believed that he had received oracular intimation. He starts helping some political people giving some advices about the future things related with politic but those have not sense or reality at all. He tried the same experiment on other politicians, then on poets, and lastly on artists and artisans, and with the same result. Thereupon, he considered it as a duty imposed on him by the Delphian god, to cross-question men of all degrees, as to their knowledge, to make them conscious of their ignorance, and so put them in the way of becoming wise.
He had a difficult situation to face because of his religion which gave him the follow sentence "Socrates is guilty of crime; first, for not worshipping the gods whom the city worships, and for introducing new divinities of his own; next for corrupting the youth. The penalty due is death." Gratefully his defense was preserved by Plato, under the title Apology of Socrates. He dwelt on his mission to convict men of their ignorance for their ultimate benefit; therefore by a majority of five or six he was adjudged guilty and sentenced to death by poison. The last day of his life he passed in conversation with his friends on the Immortality of the soul. He then drank the hemlock, and passed away with the dignity and calmness becoming his past career.
Another interesting point related with Socrates life was his paradoxes. It is the most impress believes with distinguish Socrates to other philosopher; Socrates believes that there are not any desire evil, also that the virtue is Knowledge and it is enough for happiness, but his own phrase with gives him a special characteristic as philosopher and it was "I know that I know nothing” Therefore the conventional interpretation of this remark is that Socrates' wisdom was limited to an awareness of his own ignorance. However, this is not accepted by every scholar. One extremely minority view is that Socrates may have been making a bolder claim, that is, to know 'nothingness', a claim which some scholars have linked to Ancient Chinese philosophy and in particular Taoism.
With all these relevant situations faced and lived by Socrates, the most important is to rename he was deeply intelligent man more than he knew and believed. People did not understand the intelligence degree he had, for that reason most of the people mark as a foolish one or a no understandable person, with it he suffer incomprehension but his own told him he was right. In my personal opinion is difficult to survive satisfactory in a place where nobody believe or understand you, Nonetheless he did it well and try to convey people about his believes, specially the religious one which express he was sent with a special religious mission. Every single thinking he has was thought questions what made more difficult his understanding from the rest of the people.
